In short: Timebook offers bookmarks and pins to quickly access frequently used objects. Bookmarks save them in a dedicated module for easy management and customized views. Pins add them to a dedicated section in the Navigator, keeping essential content visible while navigating. Both features support easy access to your favorite Timebook objects.

Find your favorite content faster

To save you time navigating through different components, Timebook offers two features that help you access your favorite content instantly:

  • Bookmarks let you keep track of all of the objects you frequently use. You can bookmark your favorites and then find them in one dedicated module. You can also apply filters and groupings to change how bookmarked objects are displayed and save these custom views for later use.

  • Pins allow you to stick your favorite objects to the . This way, you can quickly jump to pinned objects from the menu on the left, no matter where you are in Timebook.

You can bookmark and pin the following object types in Timebook:

Bookmarking objects in Timebook

You can easily save your favorite objects for future reference by clicking the bookmark icon on an object you want to keep handy. Once saved, these favorites are stored in the [Bookmarks] module, where you can view and manage them all in one place. This feature helps you quickly locate important content without searching across different modules, saving time and speeding up your workflow.

For Timebook Sprints, two bookmarking options are available: you can bookmark only the current Sprint or automatically bookmark each new Sprint as one ends.

You have the following options to remove an object from your bookmarks. Either will remove the object from your favorites, helping you keep your bookmarks organized and relevant:

  • Go to the [Bookmarks] module and uncheck the icon next to the object in the list of saved bookmarks.

  • Uncheck the bookmark icon on the object. This is the same icon that you initially used to add the object to your bookmarks.

For a more personalized view, use the filtering and grouping options in the [Manage view] section in the top-right corner of the [Bookmarks] module.

You can also edit and save these custom views. For more information, see Layouts & views

Pinning objects in Timebook

You can mark a Timebook object for quick access using the pin icon on its card. Once pinned, your object appears in the [Pinned items] section of the Navigator, displayed alongside your other saved objects. This section ensures that your essential content is always just a click away, helping you stay organized and efficient.

For Timebook Sprints, two pinning options are available: you can pin only the current Sprint or automatically pin each new Sprint as one ends.

You have the following options to unpin an object. Either will clear the object from the [Pinned items] section in the Navigator, ensuring only your most essential items remain visible there:

  • In the [Pinned items] section in the Navigator, uncheck the pin icon next to the object you want to remove.

  • Uncheck the pin icon on the object itself. This is the same icon you used to pin it in the first place.
