# Template Center

> **In short:**\
> The Template Center allows you to quickly create and manage templates for Documents. It provides built-in templates for common use cases and allows Workplace members to create and share their own. You can create new Documents using the templates in the Template Center or apply them directly on an empty page for faster setup and consistency.

## Reusing content with the Template Center

The Template Center is designed to help you manage documentation. You can use Timebook templates to create a new [Document](https://help.timebook.ai/hc/product-guide/documents) quickly. The main [page](https://help.timebook.ai/hc/product-guide/documents/pages) of your new Document will look just like the template, but you can modify it later. This feature allows you to quickly generate Documents, ensuring consistency and saving time when working on similar content across different projects.

Additionally, you can create templates for future use through the Template Center’s editor. This editor behaves like a regular Timebook page, allowing you to add and organize content using all available Timebook [blocks](https://help.timebook.ai/hc/product-guide/documents/blocks). Once you save the template, it will become available for other members of your [Workplace](https://help.timebook.ai/hc/product-guide/documents/broken-reference) to use in their work.

{% embed url="<https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cTnloinh3BN>" %}
Open the \[**Template Center**] module in the bottom-left corner to access all the templates.
{% endembed %}

The Template Center is divided into two main areas:

* The left pane displays a list of templates in two sections: the \[**Timebook**] section, which contains built-in templates for common scenarios like meeting minutes or a project status tracker, and the \[**Workplace**] section, where you can find all templates created by your Workplace members.
* The area on the right previews the template you selected from the list and includes a description field that provides information on when and how to use a specific template.

You can also apply templates directly on pages. [See below](#applying-a-template-directly-on-a-page) for more information.

### Applying a template directly on a page

When you open an empty page in Timebook, you’ll see suggested templates at the bottom of the screen. You can choose one to instantly populate your [page](https://help.timebook.ai/hc/product-guide/documents/pages), giving you a head start with a consistent structure and reducing setup time.

You can explore different templates by clicking on each one to preview how it looks on your page. If you haven’t started editing a template, you can switch between them to see which best fits your needs.
{% endhint %}

As you begin typing or adding content, the template selector will conveniently disappear, allowing you to focus fully on building your page. If you wish to apply a different template later, you can access the options again through the Template Center.
