This release focuses on reworking the Goals module, with new dedicated tabs for Workplace and Team Goals. We’ve also enhanced the Opportunity Score feature by providing a clearer explanation of its details and logic. While there are fewer new features in this release, we focused heavily on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
This is a summary of all the improvements in this release. Use the links below to jump to specific entries, or scroll down to read about all the changes.
Here, you'll find detailed information about the latest additions to Timebook. Explore them, stay updated, and make the most of Timebook.
The [Goals] module in the Navigator received a new design with two tabs dedicated to Workplace and Team Goals.
Why does it matter? You can now manage Goals separately for the entire organization or specific Teams, depending on the scope and impact of your objectives. To enhance this feature, we will very soon add a selector for creating a new Goal. This selector will let you choose whether to set your Goal as a Workplace-level objective or assign it to a specific Team.
We enhanced the Opportunity Score-related properties with better icons, tooltips, and placeholder text.
Why does it matter? Many users may have struggled with calculating the Opportunity Score, especially with the concept of lower Satisfaction resulting in a higher score. To make this clearer, we’ve added tooltips that explain each property and how they affect the overall Opportunity Score. This change should result in a better user experience with Opportunities.
You can now change the [Assignee] property directly from the item card without opening it.
Why does it matter? This quality-of-life improvement means fewer clicks when reassigning an item to someone else. Since this is one of the most-used features in work management, it will greatly reduce the frustration of opening an item just to change one property.
The Sprint drawer now has a dedicated section that shows the Sprint's statistics.
Why does it matter? A similar view is available in the list of all Sprints, but now you can analyze this data without leaving the current Sprint. Just open the Sprint's drawer and scroll to the [Statistics] section to view the Sprint's completion and Work Item status breakdown.
This section lists the bugs we resolved in the latest release. These fixes should improve Timebook's performance and give you a more stable experience.
Linked items not showing status changes
The [Status] field in the [Linked items] section now updates immediately when changes are made, showing the new status right away.
Properties not updating when moving from the parent to a sub-item
When moving from the parent to a sub-item, the [Project] and [Release] fields now correctly update their values. This is now fixed for both Work Items and Opportunities.
Can't filter Projects using the [Solution] status.
When managing your Project's view, the [Solution] status is now available as one of the filters.
Can't undo the [Archive Team] action
After archiving a Team, you can now click the [Undo] button in the notification to restore the Team to its original position in the Navigator.
Wrong user role handling for declined Partners
Once a Partner invitation is declined, their role in the Team can no longer be edited, and the role selector is correctly disabled.
Missing pinned items
The occasional issue of pinned items disappearing from the Navigator is now fixed
We want your experience to shape the future of Timebook, so we are looking forward to hearing your feedback.
You can send us your ideas or report issues using the dedicated feature in Timebook. Open the [Help and Support] section at the bottom of the Navigator and select [Feedback]. Fill out and submit the resulting form, and we'll take care of the rest.
