Here, you'll find detailed information about the latest additions to Timebook. Explore them, stay updated, and make the most of Timebook.
We have restructured Timebook content to better align with various pricing plans.
Why does it matter? We have put much effort into tailoring Timebook content to our pricing plans. Certain Workplace settings, the item limit, layout and view availability, and custom statuses have all been adjusted to the standards of different pricing plans. These changes should help provide an optimized experience without confusion.
Newly-created Teams now have pre-configured views in all modules to make management more meaningful.
Why does it matter? These pre-configured views provide ready-to-use layouts and groupings that align with each module's purpose, helping teams get started faster without manually setting up views. By matching the layout and grouping to the intended use, these views ensure that new Teams have a practical and efficient structure from day one.
We have updated the [Billing] module in Workplace settings with new names for editions, updated limits, and an extended trial period.
Why does it matter? These enhancements provide more clarity around different editions, ensuring users understand the features and limits associated with each. The updated feature table makes it easy to compare options, while the extended 60-day trial gives new users more time to explore Timebook.
A page limit has been introduced for the Workplace, with a modal suggesting a plan upgrade when exceeding the limit.
Why does it matter? This new limit helps manage the scope of Workplaces more effectively, providing clear boundaries for content creation. If you reach the page limit, the modal guides you towards upgrading your plan, ensuring you know your options.
When pasting links to most Timebook objects, they will now automatically display as inline widgets.
Why does it matter? Instead of plain text, pasted links now appear as widgets with icons indicating the object type, making them clearer and more visually appealing. This feature also supports creating inline links to Initiatives, adding even more flexibility when referencing key objects in Timebook.
The standard "Product Team" now has [Inbox] and [Discovery] modules enabled by default after creating a Workplace. Additionally, the list of predefined templates for creating new Teams has been updated.
Why does it matter? These changes provide a more streamlined starting setup, ensuring essential modules like [Inbox] and [Discovery] get more visibility. The updated Team templates make it easier to start with the most relevant structure, saving setup time and helping teams focus on meaningful work from the beginning.
This section lists the bugs we resolved in the latest release. These fixes should improve Timebook's performance and give you a more stable experience.
Incorrect handling of long tab names in Electron
In the Electron version of Timebook, the tab name length is now limited, so individual tab names no longer occupy too much of the screen,
Views missing in the [Watched] tab of [My Work]
When managing watched items in the [My Work] module, you can now see and save custom views as you would elsewhere.
Incorrect views in [Inbox] and [Discovery] modules
We have fixed the issue that resulted in occasionally showing incorrect data and views in the [Inbox] and [Discovery] modules.
Can't group data in Projects and OSTs of a new Team
When using the [Projects] and [OSTs] modules of a new Team, you can now correctly use the [Group by] option. The corresponding dropdown is no longer empty.
Can't restore an archived Team
In the [Teams] module at the Workplace level, the [Restore] button for archived items now works correctly and is no longer grayed out.
Can't type when mentioning others
We have fixed the issue that stopped you from typing someone's name after using the @ command.
