Further quality-of-life tweaks you’ll appreciate

Another week, another set of refinements to boost your Timebook experience. Since the start of the year, we’ve focused on delivering quality-of-life improvements—those small changes that remove friction and enhance everyday workflows. This week, we’re continuing that approach with more usability boosts, helping you navigate, connect, and collaborate with greater ease.

Whether it’s faster interactions, better filtering, or smoother linking between key objects, these enhancements are designed to make your work just a little bit easier. Read on to see what’s new!

Update
Why does it matter?

Keyboard shortcut for sending comments and updates

No more reaching for the send icon—use Ctrl+Enter (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Return (Mac) to confirm sending. It’s a small change that speeds up your workflow.

Confirmation modal for transcript deletion

If a transcript has been used for Insight generation, you’ll now receive a confirmation modal before it is removed.

Smoother account creation flow

We’ve polished the experience with visual tweaks and a more direct way to invite Workplace members.

No more unnecessary confirmations when deleting events

If you haven’t made changes to an event, you won’t be asked to confirm cancelation. One less click to worry about.

Improved Goal filtering in the Tree layout

When filtering Goals by Teams in the Tree layout, the tree root now displays the names of the selected Teams for improved orientation.

Jump from Goals to linked OSTs in the Electron app

The desktop app now matches the browser behavior—you can jump directly from a Goal to a linked Opportunity Solution Tree (OST).

Refined Assignee field behavior

Using the Assignee field on item cards is now smoother. The dropdown menu can now be closed easily, even if no person is selected.

Better object linking for OSTs and Goals

We fixed several smaller linking issues, making it easier to connect different object types in Timebook.
