In this release, distinguishing between read and unread notifications has become easier with a new indicator in the Notifications module. We’ve also improved the process of generating items from Inbox Tickets, ensuring all important details—like tags and attachments—are copied over automatically. Additionally, a new toggle gives you more control over how detailed your data views are, allowing you to choose whether sub-items appear alongside their parent items.

New features

Here, you'll find detailed information about the latest additions to Timebook. Explore them, stay updated, and make the most of Timebook.

Potential game-changers

Stay on top of your notifications

You can now easily distinguish between read and unread notifications using a new indicator in the Notifications module.

Why does it matter? The new indicator helps you keep track of what’s been read at a glance. You can click the indicator to mark a notification as read without fully interacting with it, while the [...] menu allows you to mark notifications as unread. Additionally, the new [Dismissed] section keeps dismissed notifications accessible for 7 days, ensuring nothing important is lost.

When generating an item from an Inbox Ticket, the description, priority, tags, links, attachments, and watchers are now all automatically copied to the new item.

Why does it matter? This enhancement streamlines the process of creating items from Inbox Tickets by ensuring all relevant information is transferred automatically. It saves time and effort, eliminating the need to manually re-enter details, while also minimizing the risk of losing important information.

We have introduced the [Show sub-items] toggle when managing your data view. This determines whether sub-items are displayed alongside their parent items.

Why does it matter? This new toggle gives you more control over how your data is displayed, allowing you to adjust views to your specific needs. Whether you want to see a detailed breakdown with all sub-items or prefer a cleaner, high-level overview, this feature makes it easy to adjust the level of detail for better focus.

You can now use the [Column] block to organize your content on pages with multiple column-based layouts.

Why does it matter? The [Column] block offers greater flexibility in structuring your page content, allowing you to create visually appealing and well-organized layouts. Whether you need side-by-side comparisons, neatly divided sections, or simply want to add some flair to your pages, this feature makes it easy to present your information in an engaging way.

The page template selector now shows recently used templates instead of always displaying a predefined list of system templates.

Why does it matter? This change makes creating new pages faster and more convenient by prioritizing the templates you use most often. Instead of scrolling through a standard list each time, you get immediate access to the templates that fit your workflow, making the process smoother and more efficient.

When filtering by a date range, you now have additional selectors: [Within this period] and [This exact period].

Why does it matter? These new selectors give you greater precision when filtering your data. [Within this period] allows you to see all items that start and end at any time within the chosen range, while [This exact period] shows only items that run from the beginning to the end of it.

We have made visual improvements to the [Metrics] section in drawers of Sprints and Projects.

Why does it matter? You can now enjoy a more polished interface when analyzing the statistics of your Projects and Sprints. This feature is all about enhancing usability and making sure the tools you use every day feel better and look clearer.

This section lists the bugs we resolved in the latest release. These fixes should improve Timebook's performance and give you a more stable experience.

Bug
Fix description

No toast message when pinning or bookmarking a Sprint

When you pin or bookmark a Sprint, you will now receive relevant toast messages with confirmation.

Unresponsive AI Assistant options

When refining page content with Timebook's AI Assistant, all default options now work correctly and the content is edited accordingly.

Issues when transferring Team ownership

When transferring Team ownership, the list now correctly contains all Workplace members and the current owner is not displayed in the list.

"Ooops" error when opening a Project from the global search

When looking up a Project in the global search, you can now jump directly to it from the list of results without any issues.

Can't assign others as watchers of a Goal

When viewing a Goal, you can now correctly use the "Watch" feature; you can assign anyone from your Workplace as a watcher.

Multiple issues when linking an OST to a Key Result

We have fixed multiple issues related to creation or linking an existing OST to a Key Result. Now, the search bar opens automatically, the button text is corrected, and the OST is assigned to the correct Team.

We want your experience to shape the future of Timebook, so we are looking forward to hearing your feedback.

You can send us your ideas or report issues using the dedicated feature in Timebook. Open the [Help and Support] section at the bottom of the Navigator and select [Feedback]. Fill out and submit the resulting form, and we'll take care of the rest.

Thank you for your time.
