Here, you'll find detailed information about the latest additions to Timebook. Explore them, stay updated, and make the most of Timebook.
We have redesigned the [Manage view] modal and its components.
Why does it matter? The presentation of available layouts and other options is now much cleaner and more compact. We have also added an indicator that shows the number of active filters applied to the view, as well as tooltips to inform users about grouping options. Last but not least, after editing a view, you can save it as a new private view.
When creating a new page, you can choose from various suggested templates using the slider at the bottom of the screen. You can also use the Template Center link to access all the templates.
Why does it matter? This feature will speed up the process of creating pages as you now have access to selected Workplace templates without having to visit the Template Center. With quick access to templates, you can maintain consistency and ensure every Document is aligned with your Workplace's standards. The template selector is also available in the [Summary] tab of Sprints, Projects, Initiatives, and OSTs.
The [Opportunities] app is now known as [Discovery].
Why does it matter? This change aligns with Timebook's evolving focus on solution discovery, emphasizing a more holistic approach. While this is just the beginning, the [Discovery] app is set to become your central hub for managing Opportunities, Solutions, Assumptions, and other key elements, all designed to enhance your decision-making process.
Opportunity Solution Trees have received several quality-of-life improvements.
Why does it matter? To ensure a more user-friendly approach, we have added a new, cleaner modal for creating Opportunity Solution Trees. You can also easily reorder your OST list using drag-and-drop.
Item cards now show a pop-up presenting the details of related parent and sub-items.
Why does it matter? You can now use icons on item cards to get a quick overview of all the sub-items or the parent item. The pop-up overview lets you jump swiftly to the parent or sub-items.
When linking Timebook items, you can now use friendly IDs in the search bar.
Why does it matter? Using friendly IDs in the search bar simplifies the process of linking Timebook items. Instead of relying on long or complex identifiers, you can quickly locate and link items using friendly IDs.
When you use the global search, Timebook will show all items from the public Teams even if you are not a member.
Why does it matter? This feature broadens your access to relevant information across Teams, making it easier to find resources and collaborate more effectively without needing to join every Team. It enhances visibility and saves time when searching for public content.
You can now filter items to see those unassigned to any Project.
Why does it matter? The ability to filter items unassigned to any Project helps you quickly identify loose or overlooked tasks. This ensures that all items are properly categorized and managed, preventing tasks from slipping through the cracks.
The item cards in the Tree View have been redesigned. They now show the type of item at the top.
Why does it matter? The redesigned item cards in Tree View now display the item type at the top, making it easier to identify what you're working with at a glance. This improves clarity and speeds up navigation, helping you quickly distinguish between different types of items and stay organized.
The [Recently visited] section now includes Projects, Roadmaps, Initiatives, and OSTs.
Why does it matter? With more key item types being supported in the [Recently Visited] section, you can quickly jump back into the things that matter most without digging around. This enhancement helps you save time and keeps your workflow efficient.
This section lists the bugs we resolved in the latest release. These fixes should improve Timebook's performance and give you a more stable experience.
