Workplace and Teams: Define who’s doing what

Before diving into the work itself, it’s essential to structure your Workplace and Teams properly. The Workplace is where everything in Timebook happens—it’s the hub that connects all work. Inside it, Teams allow you to organize people around specific areas of responsibility, ensuring the right individuals have access to the right data and tools.

My Work is a quick-access location for managing your calendar, tasks, and private content. It includes the Agenda tab, which provides a flexible view of your calendar and allows you to schedule, manage, and time-box your events. The integrated To-Do drawer allows you to plan your work, track uncompleted tasks, and ensure that your workload remains organized.

  • Track all your Work Items in one place, whether created by you, assigned to you, or followed.

By setting up Teams effectively, you enable smooth collaboration, better visibility, and the ability to track ownership across different initiatives. Managing members and defining ensures that everyone knows their responsibilities, reducing confusion and misalignment.

Once your is set up, structuring the actual work becomes crucial. Work Items represent individual pieces of work, whether they are stories, tasks, or bugs. To keep work organized at a higher level, you can group Work Items into Projects, providing clear objectives and milestones. When working in an agile setup, Sprints allow you to execute work within time-boxed iterations, helping teams focus on short-term deliverables.

Beyond scheduling, My Work helps you control all your tracked items. Whether it’s you’ve created, those assigned to you, or ones you’ve chosen to watch, you can easily monitor progress and stay informed. Additionally, you have a dedicated space for personal resources, including private Documents, notes, and uploaded files, ensuring everything you need is always within reach.

Access the Workplace Menu and its settings from the Navigator. You’ll find the Teams section there too.
This is a Work Item in Timebook. You can move it to a specific Sprint or Project with minimal effort.
This multi-page Document references other Timebook content and can be easily shared, pinned, or bookmarked.
Head to My Work from the Navigator and use the tabs to stay on top of your work.
