Integrating external apps for personal use

The [Integrations] section in the [Preferences] module allows you to connect external applications and use their features inside Timebook. This gives you a single platform to get your work done more efficiently.

See below for the complete list of options available in this section.

Options available in the [Integrations] section of [Preferences].

To access this section:

1. Click the dropdown next to the name of your Workplace in the top-left corner.

2. From the menu, select [Preferences].

3. Open the [Integrations] section.

Personal Zoom integration

The Timebook-Zoom integration allows you to boost your events with several video conference features.

To turn on the Zoom integration:

1. Click the dropdown next to your Workplace’s name in the top-left corner.

2. From the resulting menu, select [Preferences] and open the [Integrations] tab from the menu on the left.

3. Set the [Enable Zoom integration] toggle to [ON].

4. Use the resulting pop-up to log in to Zoom using your credentials.

5. Grant Zoom the necessary permissions, after which Timebook will be integrated with Zoom.

Use the following Zoom features in Timebook:

• Your Meetings now automatically generate video conference links.

• You can copy the video links and share it with others.

• You can use the camera icon on Meeting cards to jump to video conferences.

To turn off the Zoom integration:

1. Click the dropdown next to your Workplace’s name in the top-left corner.

2. From the resulting menu, select [Preferences].

3. Open the [Integrations] tab from the menu on the left.

4. Set the [Enable Zoom integration] toggle to [OFF].

Personal Slack integration

The Timebook-Slack integration allows you to push Timebook notifications to Slack via a dedicated companion app:

1. Click the dropdown next to your Workplace’s name in the top-left corner.

2. From the resulting menu, select [Preferences] and open the [Integrations] tab from the menu on the left.

3. Set the [Enable Slack integration] toggle to [ON].

4. From now on, you will see all Timebook notifications also in the Timebook companion app in Slack.

NOTE: This will only work if your entire Timebook Workplace is integrated with Slack. For more information, see Workplace integrations
