This release brings always-available Live Chat support, gives you full control over how you authorize Jira integration, and adds real-time Jira status directly in Timebook items. Whether you're reaching out to Support or syncing with Jira, everything is faster, clearer, and more flexible.
This is a summary of all the improvements in this release. Use the links below to jump to specific entries or scroll down to read about all the changes.
These are the latest additions to Timebook. Explore them to stay updated and make the most of Timebook.
A new Live Chat widget now lives permanently in the bottom-right corner of the app, ready for you to start a conversation with Support at any time.
Why does it matter? This ensures you’re never more than one click away from help. Whether you hit a blocker or need a quick answer, the Support team is always within reach—no need to leave the app or hunt for help.
When integrating Jira with your Workplace, you can now select between OAuth and Access Token authorization.
Why does it matter? This gives your org more flexibility depending on your Jira setup and security preferences. Choose the method that works best for you—without compromising access or ease of setup.
Timebook items now display the status of the synced Jira items in the dedicated banner even when the status doesn’t match any Timebook equivalent.
Why does it matter? You can now trust that what you see in Timebook is exactly what’s happening in Jira. Even if your Jira workflows are highly customized, the status will come through as-is, avoiding confusion or mismatch.
We’ve updated the Insight generation flow to show a clear message letting you know it’s safe to navigate away. Also, Insights are now instantly attached to their corresponding Interview objects.
Why does it matter? You can now move on with your work while Insights are being prepared—without wondering if you’re interrupting anything. And once ready, they’re automatically saved where they belong, so there’s no risk of losing track.
The [About] tab of a Team now includes a dedicated [Add member] button and a search bar to find existing members.
Why does it matter? Managing your Team roster just got faster. Whether you’re adding someone new or checking who’s already there, everything’s easier to find and act on.
Text that looks like a link (e.g., includes a dot) now gives you a choice: paste it as a bookmark, a link, or just plain text.
Why does it matter? Not everything with a dot is a web address. This change puts you in control of how pasted content is treated, helping you avoid accidental bookmarks or links when that’s not your intention.
When selecting fields to show in your Table layout, you can now choose [Creation date].
Why does it matter? This makes it easier to track when items were created—whether you’re auditing, prioritizing, or just looking for the most recent work. It’s a simple way to bring time-based context into your tables.
The Slack channel selector in the Inbox integration has been redesigned for improved usability.
Why does it matter? Finding and connecting the right Slack channel is now quicker and more intuitive, especially if you’re dealing with a long list of channels or naming conventions.
Modals showing warnings or errors now include distinct icons to visually differentiate between types of messages.
Why does it matter? You can now quickly tell the difference between an error and a warning without reading every word. It’s a small touch that reduces friction—especially when you’re troubleshooting.
This section lists the bugs we resolved in the latest release. These fixes should improve Timebook's performance and give you a more stable experience.
Missing Save button when transferring Team ownership
The Save button now correctly appears when transferring Team ownership, allowing you to complete the process without issues.
Double header row in Wiki pages
Wiki pages no longer display duplicate headers—each page now shows a single, correct title.
Issues with tables in Documents
We resolved several bugs affecting tables in Documents, including problems with cell interactions and inserting media or AI-generated content.
Column layout doesn’t refresh after adding an item
Adding a new item via the [+] button in the Column layout now triggers an immediate refresh, so the item appears right away.
Data loss during collaborative editing
Changes are now saved correctly when multiple users edit the same item simultaneously.
Deleting a Goal doesn’t unlink it from an Initiative
When you delete a Goal, it’s now automatically unlinked from any Initiatives it was previously connected to.
We want your experience to shape the future of Timebook, so we are looking forward to hearing your feedback.
You can send us your ideas or report issues using the dedicated feature in Timebook. Open the [Help and Support] section at the bottom of the Navigator and select [Feedback]. Fill out and submit the resulting form, and we'll take care of the rest.
